What We Do

Overview

Candace Girls Educational Foundation ("Candace Girls") is a non-profit organization founded in 2008, which provides educational, financial, and professional assistance to disadvantaged girls. Candace Girls seeks to help enhance the quality of life of its girls by way of educational grants and programs devoted to vocational training and career development, personal development and health care, and community involvement and public outreach. Candace Girls conducts its services in South Carolina, U.S.A., and in Liberia, West Africa.

In addition, Candace Girls is establishing mentorships, partnerships, and friendships between the United States and Liberia to promote cross-cultural understanding and strengthen transatlantic relations between the countries. Candace Girls and its volunteers periodically visit Liberia to support its educational initiatives and provide a range of services to the community.

Candace Girls is incorporated in the state of South Carolina and also maintains a certificate of accreditation from the Ministry of Planning and Economic Affairs at the Republic of Liberia.
