Lamii Kpargoi

Lamii Kpargoi is Officer in Charge at the Liberia Media Center.  With specialties in media development and law, Lamii has a passion for using his gifts and talents toward the betterment of humanity.  He actively serves his home country, Liberia; and has been instrumental in dissemenating pertinent information to the public ranging from education to public policy. 

Lamii has written the country chapter on Liberia for the Media Sustainability Index, an initiative of IREX-USA, which provides in-depth analyses of the conditions for independent media in 80 countries across the world. He has supervised the coverage of the Liberian Senate by the independent media; and he was also an International Fellow in the United States, where he worked with the Voice of San Diego in California and covered local mayoral candidates, conducted weekly polls, and contributed to local news and investigative stories affecting the local community.  

Lamii earned his Secondary School Diploma from Monrovia College & Industrial Training School. He thereafter earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Liberia; and went on to earn an LLB degree in Law from the Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law.

Lamii has an admirable dedication to the rebuilding of Liberia through education, and understands many of the issues firsthand that can help improve the quality of lives of the girls we serve.
